Design Office students have been working on short films honouring the three nominees of the Human Rights Tulip 2016 award. They presented their works during the official ceremony on Saturday 10 December, International Human Rights day, at Nutshuis in The Hague.

The three candidates for the Human Rights Tulip: Nguyen Quang A from Vietnam, Nighat Dad from Pakistan and El Nadim Centre from Egypt.The 2016 Human Rights Tulip has been awarded to the Pakistani internet activist Nighat Dad. Minister Lilianne Ploumen presented her with the prize on Saturday 10 December, Human Rights Day, in The Hague.
