The Graphic Design department of the Royal Academy of Art educates its students to become critical thinkers and versatile practitioners who develop outstanding concepts for visual communication. Its world-wide reputation is fuelled by the high level and thorough education, the investigative and conceptual approach in teaching, as well as the excellent quality in the field of typeface design and typography. At the Royal Academy of Art, students are encouraged not only to find answers to the problems of tomorrow and the rapidly evolving new-media landscape, but also to pose questions on the social responsibilities of a contemporary designer.
